The Department of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) was established as Department of Indian Systems of Medicines and Homoeopathy (ISM & H) in Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in March, 1995 and was renamed as Department of AYUSH in November, 2003.
